The Date is
the 13th Moon, Age II.
Post War II.
The world of
Ar'klain is a place of magic and great technology. The scions
of power and knowledge has been fused into one. Magic and
science rule side by side.
The People
have gained near immortality with these advancements, most
living for more than 7000 years. A Council of powerful mages
with vast knowledge accumulated over the eons rule the land.
They were the Immortal Council.
The Temple
where the Council is based sits undisturbed by time, decay nor
history. Its walls have seen the bloodshed of two Wars and the
uprising of countless rebelling factions.
The Weapon of
Power however rests with the Council.
The pact
formed to lock its blood to the rule of the Immortals meant a
guaranteed victory against any riot. For it seals its own
blood to prevent the darkness that would come should its true
power be awakened.
The Immortal
Council of Ar'klain have one more power it sometimes grants to
its subjects. The power to roam Worlds. With this ability,
Ar'klain has gained knowledge, power and resources by trade,
diplomatic missions and sometimes outright war.
