Channel Rules

The rules are fairly basic and more or less based on Common Sense.
PLEASE read the rules on scening on the bottom, it is VERY important. :D

• Don't pass around sensitive material in OOC, this can include porn, drug talk, personal info and photos. If you do want to share these please do so in PM, it will keep everyone a lot happier. :)
• Don't spam the channel with advertisements, if you do we'll think you're being an ogre and kick you, it's worse than trolling. If you want to show someone things that they might be interested in go to #Arklain_OOC and post it there.
• If you want to kill someone IC, give them prior warning (If you can) if it's a storyline killing and not simple murder then you'll just have to be prepared to bear the consequences IC.
• Don't argue with DMs, it's fine to ask questions and suggest/make comments on rulings, but if you're rude and snide about it, you will be kicked. Remember the OPs and DMs are there to help you have fun and they know the system. But they are not your personal boxing bag ;)
• There are no limits on which other channels you're in while you're at Arklain, but your RP in those channels might suffer as well, just be aware.
• Profanity is all right within context, if you're using sensitive words to hurt a player then we will be obliged to ask you to leave, OOC into IC is very frowned upon :(
• If you collar someone IC it doesn't mean they are yours OOC. Just work it out if you want it to be both.
• Rulings must be abided by, please listen if an OP tells you something, even if you don't agree at the time. You can always get a secondary from a head DM later.
• Please try to get a ruling on something if you're unsure, just winging it might be dangerous.
• Slaves: Arklain has a lot of laws of its own, most of them are similar to those in our world. If you break laws expect punishment.
• If you want XP carried over from another game with a similar bot please talk to the DMs.
• Scening: Sorcery is not a classically scening channel like Bondage.com etc, the Channel is also not limited to 18+, if something goes beyond an innuendo talk to an OP, they'll give you a private room with the bot where you might continue after ensuring your partner is of consenting age. We do not hold any responsibility for those that use these rooms. If you are under 18 please be aware it would be illegal in most countries for you to use these facilities. You may not use these for illegal sexual RP such as paedophilia etc.
