Hello,

For any of you who've just read up to this Issue and missed the notice back on Issue 1, basically, we were unhappy with the way Virus and it's current storyline was progressing. As such, the manga you seen on this page (Virus: Infection - Book 1) is the first part of a new, revamped Virus.

Here's a brief summary for those who missed it:

After long deliberation, we've decided that Virus in it's present form isn't working as well as we had hoped - some readers have already noted that the story is a bit jumpy, parts don't make sense or unclear.

With our new writer (Nny) onboard, we're hoping to start from a relatively clean slate. We're hoping to keep a cleaner, tighter storyline that doesn't meander around like the original Virus did, and we're all terribly excited about some of the new characters and places (and techy gizmos) the new story will show you. :P

Don't worry, we'll still be following the adventures of Virus and Yuri, and most of the major story elements will still be present (Virus and Yuri being partnered, the Virus outbreak, Virus Hunters, the VR Matrix, amongst others), but some of the characters will be older, or more experienced. For example, you'll be able to learn more about the world of 2035 as Yuri studies towards becoming a Virus Hunter, or as Virus discovers more about his origins.

Feel free to have a read through the old issues, but keep in mind that some characters or events you read about might change or go missing (if they didn't, there wouldn't be a point to "starting over". :S ).
